4. Data Aggregation & Anonymization

We may aggregate and anonymize data collected through the Service to create datasets that do not identify any individual user, agency, or client. This anonymized data may be used for product development, industry benchmarking, analytics, research, and commercial purposes without restriction. For full details on our data rights, see Section 6 of our Terms of Service.

5. Information Sharing

We may share your information with: (a) insurance carriers — to submit and retrieve quotes on your behalf, as directed by you; (b) service providers — third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements; (c) legal compliance — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; and (d) business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

We do not sell personally identifiable information to third parties. We may share aggregated, anonymized data as described in Section 4.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account termination, we retain User Data for up to 30 days for export purposes, after which it is deleted from active systems. Anonymized and aggregated data derived from your use may be retained indefinitely. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal and contractual obligations); (d) object to or restrict certain processing activities; and (e) data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To make a CCPA request, email [email protected].

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
